onsemi East Fishkill Fab is seeking an individual to join their site Emergency Response Team as a Technician. Technician positions are hourly shift positions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts; the desired shifts for this role is for a Night shift Technician which includes a 15% shift differential! onsemi is a 24/7 manufacturing facility providing technician support across all shifts. High School education or equivalent NYS Emergency Medical Technician Certification Firefighter I Certification or equivalent CPR Certification Hazmat Technician (Preferred) Instructor Certification (Preferred) Confined Space Rescue Technician (Preferred) Self-Motivated / Team oriented Strong verbal, written and digital communication skills

Physical Capacity Demands:

walking, repetitive motions, lifting and / or wearing equipment weighing up to 60 lbs. Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

Hourly:

onsemi is excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $18.46/hr to $32.26/hr exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. Participating in fire system inspections, building inspections, training exercises, and equipment maintenance activities. Troubleshooting Incidents / Events. Assisting with Environmental, Safety, and Security tasks as assigned/needed. Coordinating of resources for effective response and containment. Teaching Fire, EMS, and Rescue classes to employees and ERT personnel. Assist with Chemical Operation, Gas Group, Facilities, and other areas when needed.
