Job Description

Job Overview Mountain State Resources is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our team as Environmental and Industrial Field Technicians. This is a hands-on field position supporting environmental cleanup, industrial cleaning, waste management, facility maintenance, spill response, and other specialized projects throughout West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and surrounding states. No two projects are exactly the same. Employees may work at industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, transportation facilities, municipal properties, construction sites, or environmental cleanup locations. Some projects are local, while others require overnight travel. We are willing to train the right person. Previous environmental or industrial experience is helpful, but reliability, work ethic, communication, and a willingness to learn are equally important. Typical Job Duties Environmental cleanup and remediation support, industrial cleaning and pressure washing, tank, sump, pit, and oil-water separator cleaning, vacuum truck and waste-removal support, spill response and emergency cleanup, handling, packaging, labeling, and loading waste materials, facility, grounds, and general labor support , confined-space and respiratory-protection work after training, working around industrial equipment and active facilities, loading and unloading tools, supplies, drums, hoses, and equipment, completing daily paperwork, safety forms, and project documentation, cleaning and maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas, following company safety procedures and client site requirements, traveling to projects throughout the region as assigned. What We Are Looking For A strong willingness to learn Dependable transportation to our Morgantown facility Consistent attendance and punctuality The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Good communication skills A positive and professional attitude Honesty, accountability, and integrity The ability to work safely in changing conditions The flexibility to work early mornings, long days, evenings, weekends, or overnight projects when required The ability and willingness to travel out of town and across state lines The ability to perform physically demanding work Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, and pull throughout the workday Work indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, wet, dusty, or noisy conditions Wear required personal protective equipment Wear respiratory protection when medically cleared and properly trained Work at heights or in restricted areas after receiving appropriate training Enter confined spaces after receiving required training and authorization Preferred Qualifications The following experience or certifications are helpful but are not required : Environmental cleanup or remediation Industrial cleaning Construction or general labor Pressure washing Vacuum truck operations Hazardous or non-hazardous waste handling Confined-space entry Asbestos or demolition work OSHA, HAZWOPER, forklift, first aid, or CPR training Commercial driving or equipment operation Training may be provided based on the employee's position and project assignments. Our work is project-driven, and schedules can change based on client needs, emergencies, weather, travel, and project conditions.
