Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role leads infection surveillance, outbreak response, regulatory compliance, staff education, and antibiotic stewardship initiatives in accordance with federal, state, and long-term care regulations. The ideal candidate is a licensed nurse with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality improvement and resident safety. Infection prevention or long-term care experience is preferred, and certification in Infection Prevention and Control is required within six months of hire.
