/ Infection Preventionist GLC Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week contract assignment in Nebraska City, Nebraska. This position is ideal for an RN with LTC experience and a background in MDS and infection prevention.

Infection Preventionist Pay Package Travel Rate:

$23/hr taxable + $1,246/week non-taxable stipend

Estimated Weekly Gross:

$2,166/week based on 40 hours

Local Rate:

$50/hr

Local OT Rate:

$75/hr Pay package is based on a 40-hour workweek. Actual take-home pay may vary based on taxes and individual circumstances. Responsibilities Serve as the MDS Coordinator , overseeing resident assessments and required clinical documentation. Complete and maintain accurate MDS assessments and supporting documentation. Assist with care planning and ensure resident needs are appropriately documented. Serve as the Infection Preventionist (IP) for the facility. Monitor infection prevention and control practices and maintain compliance with applicable regulations. Conduct infection surveillance and assist with prevention and education programs. Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and interdisciplinary teams. Participate in the facility's on-call rotation and respond to clinical or facility needs outside regular working hours. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Requirements Active Nebraska RN license LTC/SNF experience required MDS experience preferred Infection Prevention experience preferred Behavioral health experience is a plus Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities Must be available for the required weekday schedule and on-call responsibilities Why Join GLC Group?
