Job Description

Encompass Health seeks an Infection Prevention / Hospital Educator to lead infection control programs and staff education in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role develops, implements, and monitors infection prevention policies, conducts surveillance and data analysis, and ensures compliance with CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards. The educator designs and delivers clinical training, orientations, and competency programs, partners with interdisciplinary teams on quality initiatives, and supports outbreak investigation, reporting, and performance improvement to promote a safe, patient-centered environment.
