Desert Southwest Region (Yuma, AZ & Imperial Valley, CA) Seasonal Position | Mid-August through January Grow Your Career with Seedway Are you passionate about agriculture, innovation, and helping growers succeed? Seedway is seeking a motivated and results-driven Seasonal Product Development Specialist to support our Desert Southwest Vegetable Sales team during the peak growing season. What You'll Do As a Seasonal Product Development Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing Seedway's product development efforts throughout the Desert Southwest region. Key Responsibilities Partner with Seedway sales teams, product managers, and supplier representatives to execute a comprehensive product development program.
Assist in planning and implementing product evaluation strategies, including forecasting, trial placement, product testing, and new product introductions.
Collect, analyze, and communicate trial results to Seedway sales teams, product managers, suppliers, and customers in a timely and professional manner.
Travel throughout key vegetable production regions including Yuma, Arizona; Imperial Valley and Coachella Valley, California; and other approved locations.
Identify opportunities to expand Seedway's market presence and support business growth initiatives.
Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging agricultural technologies. What We're Looking For Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or currently pursuing a degree in one of these disciplines, or equivalent experience.
Students pursuing degrees in agriculture-related programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
Strong leadership, initiative, and problem-solving skills, wiith excellent communication.
Knowledge of agricultural practices and the vegetable production industry preferred. Work Environment & Travel Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
Ability to travel independently, including overnight travel, throughout Arizona, California, and Mexico.
Willingness to work extended and flexible hours during seasonal peak periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and spending significant time driving throughout the territory. Why Join Seedway?
