Job Description

Header Overview Join Montana State University's Southern Agricultural Research Center in Huntley, MT for a hands-on summer role in agricultural research. This 90-day position offers real field experience working alongside our research team across Southern Montana's ag fields. Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day field research activities, including field layout, data collection, weeding, mowing, planting, harvesting, sample processing, and record keeping. Work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including sun and heat. Follow all safety protocols of the research center. Experience Strong organizational skills and good work ethic Willingness and ability to drive to field sites throughout Southern Montana Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions Valid driver's license Preferred (not required): Previous farm work experience Experience handling agricultural equipment Background knowledge of agriculture

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
