We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist or Associate Scientist (In Vivo Research) to join our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the development of cutting-edge adoptive cell therapies within a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute in vivo experimental protocols; generate clear, thorough scientific documentation and reports. Establish, optimize, and execute murine models to evaluate novel adoptive T cell therapies in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Analyze, interpret, and effectively communicate experimental data through written reports and oral presentations. Coordinate project activities and timelines to ensure alignment with research objectives and deliverables. Supervise, train, and mentor research associates, as appropriate. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high scientific rigor, data integrity, and reproducibility. Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture within a dynamic startup environment. Required Qualifications Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.S., or B.S.) in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on research experience ; prior industry experience is strongly preferred. Extensive experience designing, executing, and documenting in vivo studies, including preparation and management of IACUC protocols. Demonstrated expertise in animal tumor models, including but not limited to: Xenograft models (CDX and PDX) Syngeneic models Humanized mouse models Strong proficiency with vivarium techniques, including: Handling of mice and rats Expertise in multiple dosing routes (IV, IP, SC, PO, IM, etc.) Proficiency in blood collection methods (tail vein, retro-orbital, cardiac puncture) Experience with tissue collection and necropsy Strong data analysis and experimental interpretation skills. Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines. Preferred Qualifications and Skills In-depth knowledge of pharmacology (PK/PD) and toxicology. Experience with multicolor flow cytometry, immunophenotyping, and advanced cell culture techniques. Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or early-stage biotech environment. Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring or supervising junior scientists. Strong commitment to scientific integrity and ethical research practices. Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Adaptability to evolving project needs and comfort working under tight timelines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a constructive approach to collaboration and conflict resolution. Highly self-motivated, creative, and goal-oriented.
