12 Months to start/40 hours per week The CTL team will operate as an extension of the Sponsor and collaborate with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and other designated study partners. Services must be delivered in accordance with the applicable protocol, Sponsor-approved materials and processes, contractual requirements, and all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Engagement Objectives Accelerate enrollment and support retention of two Phase III studies. Improve investigator and site staff understanding of disease biology, study rationale, protocol requirements, eligibility criteria, and study procedures. Identify and address site-specific recruitment, referral, and operational barriers in partnership with the appropriate Sponsor functions. Strengthen relationships with investigators, research staff, and relevant referral networks through sustained, high-quality engagement. Identify additional qualified sites and referral centers when requested by the Sponsor. Generate timely, structured insights that inform study execution, recruitment strategy, and broader pipeline planning. Scope of Services Mobilization and Study Readiness Develop a detailed implementation plan, staffing plan, territory model, governance approach, and transition schedule. Complete Sponsor-required onboarding, compliance training, systems training, disease-state training, protocol training, and certification before external engagement. Develop study-specific territory plans using Sponsor-provided site lists, enrollment data, and priorities. Establish compliant documentation, escalation, and reporting processes before field deployment. Scientific and Protocol Education Provide balanced, non-promotional disease-state and clinical trial education to investigators and research staff. Explain the scientific rationale, study objectives, design, endpoints, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and key study procedures using Sponsor-approved materials. Reinforce understanding of protocol amendments, operational updates, and study-specific educational content following Sponsor approval and training. Participate in investigator meetings, site training sessions, and other Sponsor-directed educational activities. Escalate questions that require medical, safety, regulatory, or protocol interpretation to the designated Sponsor contact. Site Identification and Assessment Identify potential academic and community sites and investigators with relevant patient populations and clinical trial capabilities. Assess investigator interest, patient availability, referral reach, competing studies, staffing, infrastructure, and anticipated enrollment potential. Map local and regional patient referral pathways and relevant treatment networks. Submit documented site recommendations to the Sponsor; final site selection decisions remain solely with the Sponsor. Site Engagement and Enrollment Support Maintain a Sponsor-approved cadence of engagement with assigned investigators and site personnel. Identify recruitment and retention barriers and facilitate development of site-specific mitigation plans with the appropriate Sponsor team. Sponsor-approved recruitment practices and trial-awareness resources. Support patient identification workflows and referral pathway development without accessing identifiable patient information unless expressly authorized and legally permitted. Facilitate appropriate investigator-to-investigator and referring-clinician connections. Support Site Initiation Visits, investigator meetings, enrollment reviews, and other study activities when requested, without performing CRA or monitoring responsibilities. Promptly escalate material enrollment, protocol comprehension, site engagement, or reputational risks. Insights and Strategic Intelligence Capture structured insights regarding protocol feasibility, eligibility criteria, recruitment barriers, patient flow, referral patterns, site needs, and competing trial dynamics. Distinguish factual observations from interpretation and vendor recommendations. Submit insights in the Sponsor-designated system and within agreed timelines. Provide recurring analysis of themes, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions at program and territory level. Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with Sponsor-designated Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and vendor stakeholders. Participate in launch, governance, enrollment, and risk-review meetings at the agreed cadence. Maintain clear role boundaries and route issues to the accountable Sponsor function. Coordinate activities with CRAs and other site-facing personnel to avoid duplication and excess site burden.
