Job Summary If you're interested in an Entry Level Microbiologist job, then this is the best role for you! The QC Microbiology Lab Analyst will perform microbiological testing to support GMP, clinical, and development product release activities while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This role offers hands-on laboratory experience and supports critical product release timelines. Job Description Perform microbiological testing on in-process, clinical, and commercial samples. Conduct growth promotion testing and other microbiology assays. Support day-to-day operations in the QC microbiology laboratory. Ensure testing activities comply with SOPs, GMP requirements, regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory. Assist with method verification for clinical and commercial products. Learn and become proficient in new laboratory techniques and procedures. Collaborate with a team of analysts and specialists to support product release timelines. Skills Required Experience working in a GMP laboratory environment. Knowledge of aseptic techniques. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow written procedures accurately. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Leadership potential and willingness to learn new laboratory methods. Education/Training/Certifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or in a GMP environment. On-the-job training provided. Additional Requirements Must pass a drug screening and background check
Shift Start:
08:00 AM 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. Occasional overtime may be required. Occasional weekend and holiday work may be required based on business needs. Position is fully onsite.
Pay Rate/Salary Estimated Salary:
