Our outstanding outpatient team of physical, occupational and speech therapists are seeking a patient-centered physical activity tech to assist with administrative, patient care and general maintenance tasks. Northwest HealthCare , six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. Provides outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatments for patients with any number of physical impairments which affect their ability to function and/or cause pain. Department is staffed by physical therapists, physical therapists' assistants, and aides Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides routine, non skilled patient treatments as prescribed by the physician and directed by the licensed therapist or therapist assistant. Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, forms and organizing the clinical environment for safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities Assists the therapist by performing non-skilled activities that are critical to a patient's treatment. Transports patients safely and in a timely fashion. Inputs rehab charges, prepares charts, charge sheets and other documentation required for treatment, and creates, complies, maintains and organizes patient handouts and other departmental reports.
