Responsibilities:
Sample receiving and organization, followed by performance of analysis of samples and recording data. Properly archive analysis, samples and data to retrieve necessary. Maintain order in the lab and ensure that all is kept clean and tidy. Monitor inventory in storage and lab spaces to ensure no stoppage of work occurs. Engage in the development and delivery of extension outreach materials for public consumption. Assists with program and outreach efforts. Produces and or delivers presentations Assists in the initiation of applied research studies, collects, and processes data and generates reports. Other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Soil or Water Science or degree related to natural resources. No prior experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and some basic statistical analysis of data. Knowledge of word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
