Job Summary The Associate Researcher will support a variety of research projects. The main focus is on qualitative, primary source research methods to gather competitive intelligence (not surveys or quantitative work). Responsibilities will focus on collecting competitive information, by conducting primary source research interviews as well as secondary research and analysis; organizing and evaluating findings; and documenting initial conclusions. This is a great opportunity for someone to work collaboratively within multiple project teams to deliver world-class predictive and actionable intelligence to our clients, while sharpening their skills and expanding to wider range of research methods. •
Primary Source Research :
Demonstrates ability to plan, manage time and resources to conduct a high volume of in-depth, qualitative primary research phone interviews with sources from a variety of industries and functional areas. •
Writing :
Present research findings and recommendations that contribute to report creation and design by writing clear, concise, accurate, and timely summaries of primary source interviews that team analysts can rely on to further develop client deliverables. •
Secondary Source Research :
Identify and effectively use a wide range of secondary research tools and platforms; gather information on the competitive landscape; synthesize information; and identify potential sources for primary source research. •
Project Task Management :
Capable of setting priorities, meeting timelines simultaneously to manage multiple assigned project workloads to meet internal and external deadlines and budgeted hours. •
Communication :
Ability to prepare and participate in all projects related calls and meetings. Proactively collaborate and communicate with internal team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, including 1+ year in competitive intelligence or market research Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong communication skills - both written and verbal Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects Detail-oriented and analytical with an inquisitive mindset Non-English language skills are a plus
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
