The Work-Study for the Science Department will operate in the Science Department Lab , contributing to the overall daily operations of student use. The student in this role will be able ensure that the lab is prepared each day for use and is properly cleaned and closed when completed for the day. This position will allow the student the opportunity to work in a professional environment while gaining hands-on experience in departmental procedures while committing to the mission and values of Faulkner University.
Responsibilities:
Clean all glassware Setup all lab activities Organize, restock, and oversee inventory Operate and assist in any computer work as directed by overseer Assist the acting professor as needed
Qualifications:
Must be eligible for the Faulkner University Work-Study Program If you are unsure if you qualify, you can check your eligibility with the Financial Aid office in the Rotunda at 130 B Must major in a field within the science department
