We're hiring a Plant Packer to prepare and pack orders for shipment. This is hands-on, physical work in a plant environment. Your main job is packing plants correctly and quickly so they arrive alive and undamaged. You'll also help with general nursery tasks as needed. What you'll do:

• Pack live plants for shipping: wrapping, securing root balls, boxing, and padding so plants survive transit
• Match orders to the correct plants and quantities before they go in the box
• Print and apply shipping labels; stage and consolidate orders by customer
• Receive and unload incoming shipments; unbox and inspect plants on arrival
• Keep the packing area clean, stocked, and organized Other nursery tasks you'll help with occasionally:
• Watering and general plant care
• Potting and transplanting
• Taking and sticking cuttings for propagation
• Labeling and tagging plants
• General cleanup and facility upkeep What we're looking for:
• Reliable and on time
• this is the single most important thing
• Careful hands and attention to detail; plants are fragile and mistakes cost us a live plant plus a refund
• Able to work at a steady pace when order volume is high
• Comfortable working around soil, water, and plant material
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and reach for the length of a shift Nice to have, not required:
• Previous nursery, greenhouse, garden center, or warehouse packing experience
• Experience with e-commerce order fulfillment or shipping software
• Interest in plants We'll train you on our packing standards.

No plant experience needed if you're reliable and careful.
