Your future starts here - join us today! The Life Science Student Worker supports the Life Science Lab Coordinator in maintaining the Life Science Labs and fulfilling class needs. The Life Science Student Worker is responsible to the Dean for Mathematics and Sciences and the Life Science Lab Coordinator and the Interim Dean for Mathematics and Science. Responsibilities Assist with Set-up and take down individual laboratory experiments according to prep sheets. Asssist with stocking and maintaining inventory. Assist with the sanitation of laboratory and prep areas. Assist with glassware washing and instrument/model cleaning. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications A Waubonsee student enrolled in at least one credit. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or above. Be in good standing with Student Conduct. Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress. Preferred Requirements Prior knowledge in Biology (ie BIO 101, 120,122, 260, 270 or equivalent) Good communication and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented. Should enjoy problem solving. Ability to lift and manipulate 35 pounds. Basic computer skills desired Interested in a possible future in Bology or Healthcare. Please attach the following documents when applying: Cover Letter-Yes
