Responsible for the operations of the West Bridgewater Water Department including supply wells, two water treatment plants, three water storage tanks, approximately 70 miles of distribution pipe, it's employees and managing an annual operating budget of $2.6 million. Under the direction of the Director of Public Works and Water, plan, organize, and direct all Water Supply, Treatment, Storage, and Distribution operations. Thorough knowledge of the policies and operating procedures of a public water supply source. Detailed knowledge of the distribution system materials, methods and techniques relative to underground pipe installations. Ability to manage employees and equipment and to maintain good public relations. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with town officials and departments, state agencies, and the general public. Ability to act independently and exercise sound judgement with courtesy, calmness, tact, and discretion. Skilled in computer applications, SCADA operations, presentation development, spreadsheets, and standard office equipment.
