The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Planner II (Long Range Planning) in the Department of Community Development and Services. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. Under general supervision, performs professional level long range planning activities, ensuring program consistency within City planning strategies; and performs related duties as assigned. The City of Henderson's Long Range Planning and Services Division of the Community Development and Services Department develops and implements land use plans, policies and programs, conducts research, and performs analysis to benefit both current and future residents. Long Range Planning integrates multiple disciplines and synchronizes efforts to improve and maintain a premier quality of life in Henderson.

Salary and Benefits:
Competitive Salary Range of $71,982.63
$107,973.95 annually; salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity
Base Wage increase upon successful completion of Initial Probationary or Qualifying Period
Annual Pay Adjustment Increase or Lump Sum Bonus
