Credence has an upcoming need for a Future Operations Planner to support the U.S. Space Force S4S S35 Future Operations Division at Vandenberg SFB, California. The successful candidate will be an experienced planner who can successfully transition campaign plans into contingency plans, participate in OPTs, develop and staff plans and orders, analyze operational risks and impacts on warfighters, and support joint exercise planning and execution with an active/ current Top-Secret clearance with SCI, ACCM, and SAP eligibility is required. Responsibilities Coordinate with S5 Campaign Plans to transition Joint Space Operations Plans and related campaign plans into the contingency-operations planning cycle for a 60-day-to-2-year horizon. Support joint planning under Joint Publication 5.0 and joint operations under the Joint Publication 3.0 series. Participate in OPTs that translate guidance into plans and orders and produce orders, plans, instructions, presentations, papers, and reports for Government approval. Analyze combatant-command and S5 support plans, assess existing and emerging threats, and conduct risk and trade-off analysis across strategic, operational, and tactical options. Integrate and synchronize delegated plans, concepts, designs, and methodologies with USSPACECOM, other combatant-command planning staffs, and mission stakeholders. Analyze campaign, contingency, and continuity-of-operations plans and recommend actions based on their impact to the warfighter and operational echelon. Write and staff orders, plans, and instructions; coordinate meeting locations and communications; invite participants; and provide planning expertise to commander and staff decisions. Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 exercise planning and execution, including travel, weekends, and extended shifts when required, and use command-directed planning and task-management tools.
