 20 to 29 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled About the Role At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. You'll provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals facing various challenges including addiction, homelessness, and other life difficulties. This role is crucial in supporting our beneficiaries' recovery journey through spiritual guidance and rehabilitation planning. What You'll Do Counseling & Assessment Conduct in-depth interviews with new beneficiaries Provide individual and group spiritual counseling Design and manage individual rehabilitation plans Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness Lead interactive journaling and group sessions Assess and address spiritual needs of beneficiaries Program Management Maintain detailed case notes in Service Point database Track rehabilitation progress and update plans as needed Complete Self-Sufficiency Matrix assessments Coordinate with community agencies for additional services Develop and implement special projects as assigned Monitor work therapy progress Documentation & Reporting Maintain secure online beneficiary files Complete weekly case notes and progress reports Update electronic records within deadlines Provide statistical information for monthly reports Document service delivery and program outcomes Why Join Us Mission-driven work that supports programs in your community On-the-job training Team-oriented environment Employee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more!
