Category Schools - Counselor Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young learners for the full 2026-2027 school year. As a part-time LPC, your expertise will empower students in grades 1-12, offering both direct counseling services and valuable consultation as needed. This unique opportunity involves working with a manageable caseload of 44 students across six close-knit campuses, all within a short walking distance. Your contributions will help shape a supportive environment for students navigating a variety of personal and academic challenges.
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver direct counseling services to assigned students, addressing social, emotional, and academic needs Consult with educators, staff, and families to develop strategies that support student success Maintain confidential and accurate documentation for all sessions and consultations Collaborate in team meetings to review student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate Promote mental health awareness and facilitate a positive school climate
Qualifications & Experience:
Active LPC licensure Background in school counseling, providing services to grades 1-12 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with students, families, and staff Capacity to manage a part-time schedule of 15-20 hours per week Flexibility and organization, capable of moving between multiple campuses within close proximity Bilingual abilities are a plus Engage with students who value trusted guidance and make a meaningful impact, all while enjoying a part-time schedule.
