Job Summary Help Teenagers Become Capable Adults Colossal Academy is an innovative private high school where students don't just prepare for life—they participate in it. Our students earn a traditional diploma while building businesses, completing internships, learning alongside community mentors, and taking on real responsibility. We believe confidence is built by doing hard things, not just sitting in classrooms. We're looking for an energetic, relationship-focused Student Success Coach to mentor our five 11th and 12th grade students alongside experienced teachers. This isn't a traditional teaching position. It's part mentor, part coach, part encourager, and part adventure guide. If you've ever wanted to make a real difference in the lives of teenagers, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Build strong relationships with our 11th and 12th grade students. Help students stay organized, motivated, and engaged throughout the school day. Keep students active with movement breaks and hands-on learning. Work alongside teachers during projects, discussions, and real-world learning experiences. Coach students as they build responsibility through entrepreneurship, internships, college planning, and life skills. Encourage positive behavior through connection, consistency, and high expectations. Support our student-run lawn care business and other experiential learning opportunities. Collaborate with teachers and families to help every student succeed. You Might Be a Great Fit If You... Enjoy working with teenagers. Build relationships easily. Great Backgrounds Include We care more about the right person than the perfect résumé. People with backgrounds in coaching, military service, youth ministry, camp leadership, trades, social work, counseling, occupational or physical therapy, education, AmeriCorps, first responders, or other mentoring roles are encouraged to apply.
