Self Sufficiency Program Manager

Job Description

Manage a caseload of up to six participants enrolled in a transitional employment program. Provide individualized case management, including assessment, goal setting, service planning, and ongoing progress monitoring. Supervise participants both on and off job sites to ensure workplace safety, productivity, and adherence to program expectations. Conduct regular job site visits at local parks and other community work locations to provide coaching, support, and performance feedback. Develop individualized employment and self-sufficiency plans tailored to each participant's goals and barriers. Coordinate enrollment in industry-recognized certification and vocational training programs. Monitor participant attendance, training completion, certifications, and employment readiness milestones. Provide job readiness training, including workplace professionalism, communication, time management, and conflict resolution. Assist participants in overcoming barriers to employment by connecting them with community resources and support services. Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with local cities, parks departments, employers, educational institutions, and community organizations. Serve as the primary liaison between participants, worksite supervisors, partner agencies, and program leadership. Track participant progress and maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and program records in accordance with organizational and funding requirements. Prepare reports on participant outcomes, employment progress, and program performance. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with participants to evaluate goals, address challenges, and celebrate achievements. Support participants in obtaining and maintaining employment through career coaching, resume development, interview preparation, and job placement assistance. Ensure compliance with program policies, grant requirements, and safety procedures. Address participant performance concerns through coaching, corrective action plans, and documentation when necessary. Coordinate referrals to supportive services such as housing, transportation, behavioral health, childcare, financial literacy, and other community resources. Facilitate communication among partner organizations to ensure coordinated service delivery. Represent the program at community meetings, partner events, and workforce development activities. Promote participant success by fostering accountability, independence, and long-term self-sufficiency. Perform other related duties as assigned in support of program objectives.
Pay:
From $21.61 per hour
