Role Description The opt candidates role at Triopath Careers is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. In this role, the team member will support candidates exploring different career options by guiding them through Triopath's roadmaps, resources, and tools. Day-to-day responsibilities may include interacting with candidates to understand their goals, helping them navigate relevant IT and non-IT career paths, and providing information on skill-building, certifications, and job opportunities. The role involves maintaining accurate candidate records, coordinating with internal teams to improve guidance materials, and ensuring a positive, inclusive experience for everyone using the platform. This position is well-suited for individuals who enjoy working directly with people, are detail-oriented, and are motivated to help others make informed career decisions. Qualifications Ability to support candidates in exploring IT and non-IT career paths, including understanding role-based roadmaps and career planning resources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse candidates, listen actively, and explain complex information clearly. Organizational and administrative skills to manage candidate data, track progress, and coordinate follow-ups efficiently. Comfort with digital platforms and online content, including familiarity with websites, social media, and basic productivity tools. Empathy and a candidate-focused mindset, with the ability to maintain a non-judgmental, inclusive approach to career guidance. Prior experience in career counseling, academic advising, student support, HR, or related fields is beneficial. Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred, especially in fields such as Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or Business. Willingness to work on-site in New York, NY and collaborate closely with a team in a dynamic environment.
