  • 2 shifts of 7:30 to 4pm and 1 shift of 12:00 to 8:30pm, T & F
  • 7:30 to 4pm Hourly
  • Non-Exempt Position Summary The Career Services Associate (CSA) supports students and graduates in preparing for successful employment by providing career guidance, assisting with job placement activities, and coordinating career-related events.
This position serves as a liaison between students, employers, and campus departments to promote positive employment outcomes while maintaining accurate placement documentation and compliance with institutional policies. Essential Responsibilities
  • Student Career Development
  • Assist students and graduates with securing employment opportunities related to their training.
  • Provide individualized career coaching on: o Resume development o Interview preparation o Job search strategies o Cover letters o Employment applications
  • Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist students in developing professional workplace skills and expectations.
  • Verify graduate employment and maintain ongoing communication regarding placement efforts.
  • Encourage graduates to remain engaged with Career Services until employment is obtained. Employer Relations
  • Assist with employer outreach to develop employment opportunities for students and graduates.
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing employer partners.
  • Assist with employer campus visits, presentations, and recruiting activities.
  • Share job leads with qualified students and graduates. Career Events & Student Engagement Assist with:
  • New student orientations
  • Class presentations
  • Career readiness workshops
  • Employer campus visits
  • Networking events
  • Career fairs
  • Graduation preparation and ceremony, as well as attend
  • Program Advisory Committee meetings Records & Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate student employment records.
  • Assist Update Career Services databases and job postings.
  • Assist with student employment verification
  • Maintain detailed placement documentation, employer contacts, and meeting records.
  • Assist in preparing reports required by accreditation agencies and administration.
  • Ensure documentation meets institutional and regulatory requirements. General Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional, approachable, and student-focused demeanor.
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Education, Financial Aid, Student Services, and Administration.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Career Services Director or Campus Director Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience in career services, workforce development, recruiting, higher education, or student services preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
Pay:
$37,400.00
  • $42,000.
