Portal, Inc. is seeking a FT compassionate, motivated, and community-focused Employment Consultant to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful, competitive employment. In this role, you will work one-on-one with individuals to assess their interests, strengths, and employment goals while developing individualized employment plans that promote independence and success. You'll build strong relationships with local employers, coordinate long-term support services, provide job coaching, facilitate natural workplace supports, and advocate for inclusive employment opportunities throughout the community. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for helping others reach their fullest potential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human services is preferred, along with experience working with adults with disabilities, business networking, and relationship building.
