Job Description

Overview We are searching for dedicated, reliable caregivers in Orange County to join Tim's care team as a part of the Self Determination Program. A little about

Tim:

Tim works 5 days a week and often travels for work and pleasure. Some of his favorite things to do outside of work include dancing at concerts/festivals, eating great food, going to the park, and watching movies + tv. Tim loves socializing and being an active part in all the communities he is a part of. From his favorite bands to favorite place to eat, there's always someone around Tim is friends with. Duties To provide assistance with activities of daily living such as preparing meals, feeding, dressing, personal hygiene, cleaning tasks and accessing the community. In the event of an emergency, you are required to ensure his safety. This could include assistance with safely evacuating hazardous areas, administering first aid/CPR. To drive if prompted or required (social event, work, concerts, grocery store, emergency, etc.), due to this fact it is critical that you are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on duty Exhibit a positive attitude and present positively in both professional and social situations Maintaining a clean, organized environment. Requirements Clean DMV report Live Scan clearance / Background Check ( Can take up to 4-6 weeks, unless you are already employed elsewhere in the Self Determination Program) Valid certifications in First Aid and CPR from recognized organizations English speaking Valid Driver's License Current automobile insurance Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds as well as be able to physically assist, guide, and facilitate movement (e.g., wheelchair transfer). Rates starts at : Day Rate = $24/hr Overnight Rate = $22/hr Emergency Rate = +$4/hr to

Day/Night Rate Shifts :

Day Shift :

9am-9pm

Overnight :

9pm-9am Weekend Availability Preffered Backup/Emergency Shifts when available We are not an agency. Training will be provided. The onboarding process takes from 3-6 weeks depending on how fast the required application paperwork is completed and filed, and if you are already in the SDP employee system. Under the SDP department at Aveanna.
