In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, assist with daily activities, and promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and supported every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation. Provide patient observation, monitor health status, and communicate any concerns to healthcare professionals. Help clients with mobility using proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods. Maintain accurate care plans, document progress, and adhere to resident's rights and HIPAA regulations for confidentiality. Support clients with community outings, transportation, and engaging in social activities to promote well-being. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health care is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders support. Hands-on experience with patient monitoring, medication management, CPR/First Aid certification, and vital signs measurement. Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities is a plus. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with manual handling tasks in compliance with safety standards. Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and documentation accuracy.
