Job Description
Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and medical care. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance in clients' homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to build trusting relationships while delivering exceptional care tailored to each individual's needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition in accordance with care plan. Support clients with mobility using manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods; assist with transfers using proper patient transfer techniques Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, especially for those with dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental disorders Maintain detailed documentation of care activities, patient progress. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Experience Prior experience working in non medical home care., assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred but not a must. Knowledge of caring for individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities demonstrates adaptability and specialized skills. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations Join us to provide compassionate home-based care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably.
