$18•21 per hour About Us Inclusion Services•Supported Living Services provides compassionate, person-centered Services SLS to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to live meaningful, self-directed lives in their communities while ensuring their health, safety, dignity, and personal choices are respected. Position Summary We are seeking dedicated, dependable, and compassionate Personal Attendants with preferred Direct Support Professionals experience to join our Supported Living Services team. PAs provide individualized support that promotes independence, community inclusion, and quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and committed to person-centered practices. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized support to individuals in their homes and community settings in accordance with Title 17 regulations Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Personal care and hygiene Meal preparation and feeding Dressing and grooming Household tasks and maintaining a clean, safe environment Support individuals with: Scheduling and attending medical appointments Money management and budgeting Grocery shopping and personal errands Transportation to community activities and appointments Promote independence, self-advocacy, and community inclusion Support individuals with intense and challenging behaviors using approved strategies Implement, monitor, and document Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and progress toward goals Ensure the health and safety of individuals served and report concerns in accordance with Mandated Reporter requirements Use independent judgment during services and emergencies Attend all required trainings and maintain DSP I and DSP II certifications
Qualifications Required:
At least 6 months of direct supervision in the field of working with individuals with developmental disabilities population. High school diploma or equivalent California Driver's License Current vehicle registration and insurance Reliable transportation Ability to lift, bend, and assist with physical transfers as needed Ability to read, understand, and apply general regulations Must qualify and maintain status as a
Mandated Reporter Preferred:
DSP I and DSP II certification. First Aid/CPR / CPI•Company provided training.
