This rewarding role involves providing personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for residents in various care settings. As a paid position with weekly compensation, you will be an essential part of fostering comfort, dignity, and well-being for those you serve. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, especially those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning rooms and common areas Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document patient observations, care activities, and any changes in condition meticulously for ongoing care planning Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet each resident's needs Support hospice or palliative care services by providing compassionate end-of-life assistance Requirements Proven experience in senior or home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards is essential Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, are required or highly advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong observational skills for monitoring clients conditions and recognizing signs of distress or deterioration Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed for comprehensive coverage Join us in delivering exceptional elderly care that emphasizes respect, safety, and compassion.
