Males are encouraged to apply.•Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Staff - Caretaker to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role involves supporting individuals with various needs, including those with developmental disabilities, or other health challenges. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting independence, safety, and well-being of residents through personalized care and attentive support. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Administer medications following care plans Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and assist residents during meal times Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a respectful and caring environment Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, home & community care, or long-term care preferred Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous Strong observational skills for patient safety and well-being monitoring Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a caregiving environment Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure resident confidentiality and privacy This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while working in a supportive team environment dedicated to exceptional senior or disability care.
