This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life by offering personalized care, emotional support, and assistance with daily activities. As a Companion Caregiver, you will play a key role in fostering a safe, engaging, and respectful environment, ensuring clients feel valued and cared for at all times. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while developing your skills in patient care and support. Duties Offer companionship and emotional support to residents or clients, promoting social engagement and mental well-being Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support client with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a clean living environment Observe and monitor patient behavior, health status, and safety; report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals/family Qualifications Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs when necessary CNA certification preferred Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in hospice care or medication administration is a plus Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality of client information Join us as a Companion Caregiver and become an essential part of a dedicated team committed to providing compassionate care.
