Synergy HomeCare of Miami is seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) and CNAs (that are open to do Home Health duties) to provide non-medical in-home care services throughout Miami-Dade County. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position . We are currently experiencing high demand for English-speaking caregivers and are looking for professionals who can communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Compensation and Availability $18.00-$19.50 per hour Higher rates may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and qualifications Flexible schedules available Nightshifts/Overnights and Weekends (Dayshifts) available Full-time and part-time opportunities Miami Dade County Cases (Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne)

Requirements:

Fluent or highly proficient spoken English Must successfully pass an English proficiency interview Minimum 1 year of private duty, home care, assisted living, hospital, rehabilitation, or nursing home experience Valid HHA certificate and CNA license in case of Home Health duties Reliable transportation Professional and compassionate demeanor Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Typical Duties:

Personal care and bathing assistance Dressing and grooming Mobility and transfer assistance Meal preparation Light housekeeping Medication reminders Companionship Dementia and Alzheimer's care Post-surgical support Escort to appointments and errands

Required Documents:

HIV/AIDS

4-Hour Training Certificate (HIV 104) Alzheimer's/Dementia Training Certificate Required In-Service Training Certificates (HIPAA, OSHA, Infection Control, Assisting with Self-Medication, Elder Abuse)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's clients Experience with transfers and mobility assistance Post-operative care experience Availability for weekends, overnights, and nightshifts assignments Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Able to work in the Miami Dade County Area Applicants with strong English communication skills, excellent references, and verified caregiving experience will receive priority consideration.
