Job Overview
PART TIME 6-2 AND /OR 2-10
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to children and individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes growth, learning, and well-being. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development and experience working with children will help foster positive experiences and developmental progress. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while developing your skills in caregiving, activity planning, and child supervision. Duties Provide attentive care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Support early childhood education by engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, outings, and structured activities to ensure safety at all times. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities. Assist with basic first aid or CPR in case of emergencies following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols. Plan and execute engaging activities that stimulate physical, cognitive, and emotional growth tailored to each child's developmental stage. Skills Proven experience working with children across various settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting or nannying roles. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Ability to care for infants through elementary school-age children with patience and enthusiasm. Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children. Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
