A supportive, honest workplace that champions teamwork and accountability. What You Will Do As the heart of our agency, you will provide essential daily support to reduce isolation and keep clients independent and safe at home.
Meaningful Companionship:
Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and accompany clients on walks or social outings.
Household Management:
Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and changing linens.
Nutritional Support:
Plan and cook nutritious meals according to dietary instructions, and assist with grocery shopping.
Errands & Transportation:
Safely drive clients to medical appointments, pharmacies, and personal visits.
Safety Monitoring:
Maintain a secure home environment and promptly report health or wellness changes to management.
Medication Reminders:
Ensure clients take their medications accurately and on time during your shift.
Care Documentation:
Complete brief daily reports and shift-change notes to verify client care. What We Look For (Qualifications)
Experience:
Prior caregiving, homemaking, or customer service experience is highly preferred.
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or completion of a relevant training program.
Core Skills:
Respectful communication skills with a compassionate, enthusiastic, and cheerful outlook.
Reliability:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic home environment.
Transportation:
Valid proof of Florida driver's license, an excellent driving record, and insured, reliable personal transportation.
Language:
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Position Requirements & Terms Employment Status:
Secure, stable W-4 employment (Full-Time or Part-Time available).
Background Check:
Must clear Level II background checks and professional reference checks to comply with Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regulations.
Drug-Free Workplace:
Employment is contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening. Random testing may occur to ensure staff and client safety.
