Responsibilities Deliver compassionate personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote dignity and independence. Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly. Support clients with mobility challenges or disabilities by using proper techniques and assistive devices. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including logs of activities and any incidents or observations. Follow established care plans tailored to each client's needs while adhering to safety protocols and privacy regulations. Foster positive relationships through active listening, encouragement, and respectful communication to promote emotional well-being. Qualifications Prior experience in home health care or personal caregiving preferred; experience with geriatrics or post-acute care is highly valued. Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures, emergency response protocols, and basic first aid skills. Familiarity with Level II trauma center practices, hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, and sub-acute care environments enhances your effectiveness. Ability to handle diverse situations with professionalism; experience in teaching hospital settings is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to support clients' independence and quality of life. Certification in CPR/First Aid preferred; additional training in emergency medicine or PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) settings is advantageous.
