Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various living environments. In this role, you will assist with daily activities, monitor health and safety, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to ensure comfort and dignity. Support patients with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and adherence to care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide patient observation and monitor health status, noting any changes or concerns for prompt reporting. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation. Facilitate safe patient transfers using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met. Offer transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or community activities to promote engagement and independence. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care preferred. Knowledge of patient care procedures including CPR, First Aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with care tools such as Hoyer lifts, patient transfer methods, and monitoring vital signs. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and coordinate with healthcare teams while respecting residents' rights. Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
