Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving environments, including home health, assisted living, and long-term care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and assist with meal preparation. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment. Administer medication as prescribed and assist with care plans. Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or autism. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality. Skills First aid and CPR certification preferred. Experience in group homes or nursing homes is a plus. Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in client conditions. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Knowledge of patient care techniques and home & community care practices. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and care plans. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various caregiving settings.
