Job Description

As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, attentive, and engaging support to children of various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, creativity, and social skills. Ensure the safety of children by adhering to child supervision best practices and maintaining a secure environment at all times. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on their child's progress, behavior, and needs. Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly and appropriately. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to support overall health and comfort. Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and support emotional regulation in children. Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and developmental milestones as required for caregiving documentation. Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs, demonstrating patience and adaptability. Proven experience caring for toddlers and preschoolers with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Teaching experience with young children that includes activity planning tailored to their developmental stages. Certification in First Aid and CPR to ensure immediate response during emergencies. Knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices. Ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, children, and team members to foster collaborative care. Experience working in daycare settings or as a nanny with classroom experience or babysitting background. Skilled in behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions and emotional growth.
