Calling all early birds - our seniors need your help getting up and ready in the mornings! We are seeking a couple compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support to our senior clients in their homes, particularly supporting and assisting them with their morning routines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, managing behaviors, and ensuring a safecomfortable environment. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care and the ability to work effectively in a home care setting. We operate on a two week schedule, allowing consistent care for the clients. Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, with a willingness to transport clients as needed is a requirement. The travel expectation is that you will drive to clients within 45min of Mendota; including Dixon, Sterling, Princeton, Peru, Ottawa, Somonauk, Sandwich, Amboy, Rochelle, and other surrounding communities. Availability Requirement Monday - Sunday 9am-3pm; this is a very part-time position to start, but will grow quickly if you have the availability to do so. Benefits $16.50 - $17/hr. Overtime and holidays are paid at time and a half, miles driven in your car while clocked in are paid at $0.70/mile. Support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and housekeeping. Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to each client's unique needs and preferences. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. Provide transportation to appointments and errands as needed. Build strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship.
