Altra Homecare of Greenwood is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team in Mooresville, IN. Role:
As a Caregiver with Altra Homecare of Greenwood, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to our clients in their homes. This includes, but is not limited to: Providing personal care and hygiene assistance Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Managing medications and treatments as prescribed by a healthcare provider Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team Building strong relationships with clients and their families through empathy, communication, and compassion
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to clients in their homes, in accordance with our company's standards and protocols Collaborate with clients' families and healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and services provided Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices Demonstrate a commitment to our company's guiding philosophy, the "Grandmom Rule", and live our values of compassion, empathy, and respect
Requirements:
Caregiver or equivalent experience with a state-approved certification program High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
