Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home community care, memory care, and working with individuals with autism. This role requires a nurturing attitude and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Light Housekeeping Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Support clients with memory care needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Assist in mobility and transportation for clients as required. Skills Proven experience in caregiving or related fields, particularly in home community care and memory care settings. Strong patient monitoring skills, including the ability to assess vital signs accurately. Medication Management. Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies for engaging individuals with cognitive challenges. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space. Certification in CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is essential. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a valuable asset.
