CMA - Part-Time & PRN | Adult Day Center About Senior Day KC Senior Day KC is a fast-growing, family-owned adult day center in Lenexa, Kansas. You will be part of a small, supportive team with experienced RN clinical leadership and owners who are actively involved in the center's day-to-day operation. We are looking for the right CMA who wants something different from the typical position in healthcare. We're not a nursing facility. You won't spend your shift doing Q2H checks and changes. Instead, you'll spend most of your day helping our members stay active and independent, building meaningful relationships, and creating a sense of dignity, purpose, and connection. Our members are generally active, mobile, and engaged . Our days are built around keeping them physically and cognitively active, social, and having fun. Some members may need cognitive or physical support; others primarily benefit from companionship and social connection. You'll spend most of your day engaging with members, planning activities, assisting with crafts, playing games, and helping create a great experience for our members. One hour you might be helping lead a trivia game ; the next, cheering on our Nintendo Bowling League , helping with a craft, or joining members for puzzles and games at our old-fashioned soda fountain. At Senior Day KC, having fun and actively engaging with members is the job description. We're counting on you to notice who's engaged and who isn't, who could use some encouragement, when someone needs a little extra help, and when something just doesn't seem quite right. We're looking for someone who: Holds an active Kansas CMA certification Genuinely enjoys spending time with older adults Is energetic, positive, attentive, and approachable Is comfortable participating in and helping lead activities throughout the day Notices changes in a member's physical, cognitive, or emotional condition Is comfortable assisting with personal care, activities of daily living, and administering medications to some members Is dependable, works well with a small team, and can work independently throughout the day Schedule & Pay $19-$23/hour , depending on experience. Part-time & PRN | 15-25 hours per week Weekdays only | Open 9-5 | No weekends This position offers the opportunity for additional hours and responsibility as our membership grows.
