Job Description

Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report changes promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community activities to promote social engagement Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Use proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques, including equipment like Hoyer lifts, to ensure safety during mobility assistance Requirements Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and resident's rights enhances your ability to deliver specialized support Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training in patient observation and monitoring is advantageous Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and privacy of client information Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting with patient transfers or mobility tasks Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary settings Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus; patience, empathy, and adaptability are essential qualities Join us today as we work together to provide compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
