Hours are:
11 pm to 9 am 30 Hours per week (fully benefitted) 3 weeks vacation, 3 personal days, 13 holidays and 2 weeks of sick time with medical/dental and other great benefits! Thursday 11PM-9AM Friday 11PM-9AM Saturday 11PM-9AM Duties Monitor residents throughout the overnight hours to ensure safety and security in the residence or group home setting Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and comfort Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Conduct vital signs checks and observe for any changes in residents' health or behavior, reporting findings promptly to nursing staff or supervisors Document incidents, shift reports, and resident progress accurately to ensure continuity of care across shifts Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of caregiving techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as Hoyer lift training or medication administration are a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is essential Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while remaining attentive to residents' needs Strong communication skills for effective documentation and collaboration with team members Valid driver's license preferred for transportation duties or community outings when necessary Commitment to providing compassionate care in a respectful manner that promotes dignity and independence Join us as an Awake Overnight Residential Counselor where your dedication fuels positive change.
