Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our vibrant assisted living community. In this vital role, you will provide personalized resident care, administer medications, and support residents' daily needs to promote independence, dignity, and well-being. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately following state healthcare regulations and facility protocols Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Maintain detailed medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Support residents with dementia or memory care needs through specialized techniques and compassionate communication Ensure resident safety by practicing manual handling techniques and adhering to HIPAA guidelines to maintain confidentiality Collaborate with nursing staff to update medical records, report changes in resident conditions, and assist with medication administration procedures Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) or equivalent license in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks related to resident care Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation Current CPR and First Aid certifications; additional certifications in hospice care or tube feeding are a plus Strong communication skills for effective caregiver interactions and resident engagement Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality in all interactions Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional senior living experiences! From $16.50 per hour
