This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference every day. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and preferences Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, utilizing specialized techniques Help with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to perform patient personal care assistance with compassion and professionalism Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly valued Proficiency in emergency response procedures including CPR and first aid certification Skilled in manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Capable of assisting with ADLs safely while respecting resident's rights and dignity Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus Join us to make a positive impact by providing empathetic, professional home care that respects each client's unique needs.
