Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld
• Document observations, incidents, and changes in residents' conditions

Experience:

• Previous experience working with older adults is preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
