Job Description

Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a GSRP caregiver for the 2026-2027 school year. We have two classrooms for a caregiver to move between. Requires flexibility based on needs of students and teacher attendance or absences for trainings. This position would also provide before school care for families who need to drop students off before regular school hours.
Hours:
7:00 AM - 8:00 AM before school care; 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon classroom assistance. Must be punctual and reliable as before care cancellations negatively impact families and the school as a whole. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children to express themselves and engage with their peers. Build strong relationships with students and their families, providing support and guidance as needed. Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings to enhance teaching skills and stay informed about best practices in early childhood education. Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance, promoting positive interactions among children. Support the implementation of health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe learning environment for all students. Requirements Experience working with young children in an educational setting, preferably in a preschool or early childhood program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the dynamic needs of a classroom environment. Basic proficiency in technology and willingness to learn new educational tools and software. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
